WARDENS TRAINING COMMUNITY SAFETY TRAINING

In the business of training Wardens since 2000
We are trailblazers in this highly specialised area. At the core of our development in this area of training lies the greatest motivational factor of our growth - the fact that everyone (ourselves included), desire to live in safe communites that are free of crime/criminal activites with good community relations. The truth is that these communites are hard to find as they can not exist in isolation of the numerous socio-political and economic conditions that breed negative results (e.g. poverty, crime, exclusion, anti-social behaviour, unemployment, etc) that are prevalent in our communities today. Working in the community increases vulnerability and exposure to unpredictable behaviour, unforseen and often challenging circumstances. To avoid, prevent and reduce the risk of being unsafe in the community we provide development and training programmes. Our training programmes focus on non-confrontational techniques and strategies to manage and deal with, aggression, anger, threats of violence, and violence. We realise that training needs are as varied as the roles and responsibilities that people occupy in keeping the community safe, but we ensure that... - developing effective communication skills to work within diverse communities; - an understanding of how to use assertiveness skills for conflict management; - effective observation skills, accurate report writing techniques, non-discrimatory practices - to collect evidence and intelligence that feeds into the wider areas of responsibilty of Environment and Crime particularly as they relate to Anti-Social Behaviour; - knowledge on how to stay safe at/in work by working within the confines of the organisational policies and procedures of in place to protect and safeguard employees in work in accordance with the Health and Safety Act of 1974.
Below, some of the Schemes that delivered our intensive 5-DAY Core Induction Training Programme. Each scheme benefitted from Consultations, Training Needs Analysis then having a bespoke training programmed designed to meet the local needs as laid out in the SIP- Scheme Implementation Plan.
We develop, design and deliver bespoke training for your specific needs. Our training equips your Wardens to function effectively and in accordance with the core objectives of your scheme. To this end we provide training that is up to date and of 'best value'.
